It's tax filing season and seeing many people saying "Schools should have taught us about filing taxes"!

Sorry! Don't think so!

With amendments almost every year, doesn't it make sense to let professionals figure out how much tax we have to file and how much we can save?!
I mean, they are there for a reason after clearing the CA exams. :)

For most of us, knowing it in-and-out also doesn't give us any leverage on how we perform at work and life in general.

Yes, knowing how to read so it helps in building mental models, writing persuasively, asking the right questions and so on do help. That should have been taught and if they didn't, it is still not too late to get better at those skills. :)
